Tamara Jokic, a luminous singer and gifted songwriter, emerged from the rich cultural tapestry of Serbia. Having honed her craft at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, she embarked on a musical odyssey that led her to the vibrant heart of New York, where she currently resides and continues to weave her artistic magic.

With a soul steeped in the essence of world music, Tamara tenderly nurtures a fusion of Mediterranean and Balkan melodies, crafting a sound uniquely her own. Her devotion to the Mediterranean culture, its music, and its myriad languages, has seen her collaborate with an array of eminent musicians and producers, including the likes of Javier Limón, Mariza, Diogo Clemente, Amira Medunjanin, Bojan Z, Israel Suárez Piraña, Paul Winter, Jamie Haddad, Matthew Nicholl, as well as promising young luminaries in the contemporary and world music realm such as Pera Krstajic, Layth Sidiq, Nella Rojas, and more.

In a symphony that marries her heritage with a contemporary resonance, Tamara's music unfurls like a tapestry of storytelling, woven with threads of her roots. Through the evocative strains of the Balkans and the Mediterranean, she casts a spell that transports us to the mystic sounds of the East.

February of 2022 marked a momentous milestone in Tamara's journey, as she unveiled her debut album 'Transibérica' under the aegis of Sony Music Portugal, a masterpiece crafted in collaboration with the maestros Javier Limón and Diogo Clemente.

MUSIC AS A MISSION

‘’ We all carry authentic particles when it comes to music, whether we are the one performing it or listening. I cannot seem to find a better way to cultivate ourselves and one another.’’
